Do we (candidates) have to arrange for the Study Materials for the License Courses or Institute is going to provide ?
Institute will provide the handouts, Manuals and Study Materials to the Candidates on free of Charges. Please note that Candidates can take away the Handouts and the Take away Manual after the Courses are over but the Class Manuals and the study materials should be handed over to the Institute after completion of the Courses.
Duration of MODU & OIM Courses?
MODU & OIM Courses, each of 5 days Duration, Monday – Friday.
What time does the Class starts and what is the duration of the Course ?
License Courses starts at 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday till Friday.
Which Authority Approves License Course Certificates?
License Course Certificates of MODU & OIM / BS / BCO Courses are approved by all Flag States.
What will be the cost for various Flag States Licenses ?
There are different costing for the different Flag States Licenses which also varies. Once the endorsement process starts, quotation is provide by respective Consulates.
What are the prerequisite documents needed for the License Endorsements ?
Check List for the Different Flag States are to be provided to the candidates as per their request of Flag States.
What types of License Endorsement to be done after the completion of the License Courses from Gulf Coast ?
It depends on the time and demand of the market. Majority of the students go for Panamanian & Liberian License as for Market demand. Please note Gulf Coast is approved for all Flag States like Panama, Liberia, Marshall Island, Vanuatu and Belize.
Does Gulf Coast arrange Lodging & Boarding for the candidates ?
Gulf Coast book hotel room on behalf of the candidates. Hotel Charges are borne by the Candidates.
Do we (candidates) get the Certificates after the completion of the Course or later ?
After passing the exams for each Course, certificates are handed over to the Candidates on the same day.
What is the validity of the OIM Course Certificate ?
Valid for 5 years from date of Issue.
What is the validity of the MODU Course Certificate ?
Unlimited Validity.
What is the payment Terms and Condition for the Course Fee ?
Course Fee + GST can be Bank Transferred prior the Course start by NEFT (Fund Transfer)
What is the cost of each Courses (MODU & OIM) ?
USD 1,600 + GST 18% of each Course
