Jacking Operations course (SUSPENDED FOR TIME BEING)

This is IADC Drilling Industry Training (DIT) accredited and a Simulator based training.

The course is designed for teaching the practical application of jacking and stability principles.

Also covered are “Worst Case Scenarios” concerning actual offshore disasters used in conjunction with Damage Stability and Survival Mode preparations to illustrate proper procedures in emergency situations.

The course also covers preloading procedures and elevated stability, review of Rig’s Operation Manual (MOM) as well as the Safe Operating Guidelines.

The students will demonstrate their competence on different scenarios on the Simulator, prior to completing the course.
